Creating Some Faux-bulous Height

A few weeks ago, I got to pick out Easter shoes to go with my outfit for church. In case ya’ll didn’t know, I am a shorty! I’m thirteen and only 4’11”, which is quite small for my age. Since I am so small I needed, or like, to give myself some faux  height. I chose these gold & off-white Antonio Melani wedges from Dillards. They have  cork heel, jute trim around the wedge that looks like rope, and a t-strap trimmed in gold that fit perfectly on my tiny feet. Yes, I know what your thinking: Are they comfortable? The simple answer is, Yes.  Although I guess it depends on what you’re doing in them. It was a bit challenging running around the yard helping the little ones look for Easter eggs in these “Bad Boys.” These simple wedges are cute and tied my outfit together while also giving me the extra inches (or faux height) that I needed!  I guess every once in a while everyone can use a little faux-bulousness in your wardrobe.

Romans 10:15

And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
