School is finally coming to an end! No more waking up early, homework, big projects, school drama, etc. But with all this free time that I would be having, my mom decided to “help me” by giving me something to do. She told me that I was going to begin an internship with a photographer named Briana Gray, owner of The Grays Photography. I wasn’t sure exactly what I would be doing, especially because I didn’t even know what an “internship” was! As I learned more about it, I figured out that an internship is basically like a job but instead of getting paid with money, you get the experience of having a person who is great at their job, giving good tips and tricks to help you learn in a hands-on way. I had gotten my first faux-job!
For me, I was interning with Briana, who, like I said before, was a photographer. On my first shoot with her I distracted the little kids so she could take photos. Once we were finished with taking pictures, she explained to me some things about photography. And, she gave me some pointers on how to use my early birthday present, a new camera!
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
