You may recall that my mom decided to get me my own camera as an early birthday present for to my photography internship, and I thought that photography would be as simple as snapping a picture with one button, but there are so many more elements to it!
A photographer has to learn when to have the best light in what shots, where to take the best pick, how to use all those confusing buttons on the camera itself, and so much more! I will come back to “all the confusing buttons” as we cover them during my internship.
Just like almost anything, photography is not as easy as one may think, but with the right training and desire to get better anyone can reach their goals. This could be a goal in photography, or anything else, such as sports, performing, art and drawing, etc. Trust me, I am definitely no expert in photography (yet)! However, I have been practicing using some of the buttons with a friend lately, and we took some pretty cool shots, if I do say so myself!
Here are a few photos that we took practicing lighting, angles, action shots, and using the cameras timer…
Verse
Philippians 3:13-14
…But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
