faux Back-to-School Shopping: Makeup

Well, unfortunately, school is about to start. This means having to buy pencils, pens, rulers, calculators, maybe even a new backpack, etc. But there is one very important thing us ladies must never forget, and that’s our makeup! Having no makeup on the first day of school is like not having your math book on the first day of math class, maybe worse. Yes, a disaster!

Not to mention that after being in the sun all summer you may need a different color foundation/BB cream.  I have a lot of makeup already, but needed a few new products. Here’s what I bought for back-to-school.

I bought mascara (read my previous post about my favorite Maybelline mascara), BB cream (Cliniqu), lip liner (Sephora), and highlighter (Two Faced)!  I bought all of these products from Sephora except the mascara, but you could easily buy similar products from any drugstore.  Now that is what I call Back-to-School shopping!

Below are some glam looks for the school year. I probably wouldn’t put this much effort into my eye makeup on a daily basis, but everything else will be in my daily repertoire.  With these new products, I feel very prepared for my new year of school!

Adding the glammed-up eye make-up was a fun way to dress up a simple t-shirt.  This look would also be great for a weekend out or a school dance.

I hope you all do great on your first day at school, and you can look cute while working and thinking hard!

Colossians 3:23-24

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.
