Adventures in a Small Town

Kansas City, Missouri isn’t exactly the place one thinks of as they imagine adventures, but there’s more to it than cows and BBQ.

My friend Emma and I decided that we wanted to explore around the MO area and do another photoshoot. So, we decided on a place in a small town. This particular place had a graffiti bridge, a beautiful flowing waterfall, and pastures of long grass. This made it a perfect fit for our adventurous photoshoot.

We came upon the area and immediately took our sandals off to dip our feet in the running water. I might also mention it was extremely hot that day, so the water cooled us so nicely. We definitely didn’t want our makeup dripping off us before the shoot even began!

After this, we swiftly set up my tripod and camera and began shooting, considering this was such a beautiful place. We then went around and took many shots as we explored the whole place!

Here are some of the gorgeous shots:

Who would have thought such a magical place could be found in such a unexpected area…. While sometimes beauty is hard to find, it doesn’t mean it isn’t there. Don’t judge a book by its cover, instead, dig deeper, and you might find a little something special 😉

Verse of the Day

Proverbs 16:20
